New Scholarships Award Event
On the scholarship launch day, a town crier was engaged to go around the village and remind the communities of the venue and time for the UCEP Scholarship event.
The event attracted elders in the village including the village chief, many parents and wellwishers within and outside the village.
Scholarships were awarded to children from the most disadvantaged families in the village.
Various educational materials were presented to all the children present as gifts.
Then food and refreshments were served to all present, children participated in quizzes and sang songs before the closing speaches by parents and elders.
